We are beginning to teach grammar using the Shurley method.  this year in grades 1through 6. We are finding that this grammar program is exciting and excellent for our students. Shurley method is different because all students respond together to most of the questions, and even learn which questions to ask themselves in order to properly classify the parts of speech in sentences. Students also learn to write interesting sentences.
